Become an AHA Instructor

Are you passionate about equipping others with lifesaving skills? Red Heart CPR is dedicated to assisting those who are keen to become instructors.

Prerequisite

The AHA mandates that candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a current AHA BLS/Healthcare Provider card, along with Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications. If you do not have these, you can obtain them through our program.

Our training process is designed to ensure that you are fully equipped to effectively instruct BLS and Heartsaver courses. We offer comprehensive hands-on training, mentorship, and skill monitoring.

Easy Steps

1st Step

Successfully complete the Instructor BLS & Heartsaver Essentials online portion.

2nd Step

Successfully complete the classroom/hands-on session.

Final Step

Within 6 months of completing the hands-on session you must be monitored by a TCF/TCC. (may require additional monitoring, if needed)
